The Thermal and Energy Laboratory of Nantes (LTeN) is one of the 7 laboratories of Polytech Nantes, the engineering school of the University.
LTeN is a joint research unit of Nantes Université and the CNRS. The laboratory has a staff of approximately 75 people. Since its founding in 1967, the unit has built a strong identity in thermal science, recognized as such both nationally and internationally, as well as by the industrial sector.
Based within an engineering school, at the heart of the CNRS Institute for Engineering Sciences, the scientific and technological challenges we seek to address are of course driven by applications. Our environment is conducive to the flourishing of a dynamic built on the classic triptych of teaching–research–industry.
The staff hired will be responsible, on the one hand, for: (1) project management (monitoring purchases, orders, meetings, reports, etc.), tracking the progress of work related to connecting the storage platform to the national grid, and co-supervising engineers; and, on the other hand, for: (2) developing the platform’s modeling component in collaboration with doctoral students.
